Respect the Environment

The Trail Rota Vicentina is a very tough sports challenge, wilderness, during which the runners outdo themselves while having the duty to respect the paths they run trough.
The Rota Vicentina Trail goes all out to ensure the promotion of the most responsible practices and attitudes in terms of environment and wants to give priority to the following areas:

The preservation of trails and especially their cleanliness
The management of waste
Soft mobility
Participants, accompanying persons, volunteers and organizers gathered in the same adventure in the heart of an exceptional nature.
They share the same values of solidarity, conviviality and respect for the environment.

Respecting the environment, fauna and flora;
Do not leave the trails of the race course;
Do not throw anything on the ground;
Use toilets provided on supply points.

Use eco-cup and reusable dishes for refueling;
When shopping before the race, be particularly attentive to waste generated;
Follow instructions regarding separation of waste (paper, glass, non-compostable / recyclable materials);
Ensure the responsible use of resources (energy, water, etc.). Give preference to local products.

Adopt a smooth, supple ride when using a personal vehicle;
Prefer carpooling;
Use the means of public transport available
